{feuerwerk im juli}

Im Juli gibt es nicht nur für den Nationalfeiertag Feuerwerke, sondern auch für die Feuerwehrbälle, die meistens am Tag vorher stattfinden. Den ganzen Juli hindurch wurde "geübt" und so wurden wir öfter mal durch eine Rakete aus dem Schlaf geschreckt. 

Diese Feuerwehrfeste macht wirklich jeder kleine Stadtteil und auch jeder macht ein Feuerwerk dazu. Mit unserer guten Aussicht standen wir also auf dem Balkon, als es losging, und schon bald wusste ich nicht mehr wo ich hinschauen sollte, hörte ein Feuerwerk auf began das nächste, es gab sie aber auch parallel... auf jeden Fall war es nicht die schlechteste Idee 13 07 13 als Hochzeitsdatum zu wählen. Feuerwerk für alle! (Ich bekomme nur keine guten Bilder davon hin.)

Die große Parade (Champs Elyssée) ist mir eher suspekt und die kann man ja auch im Fernsehen mitverfolgen. Lustig aber, dass die Helikopter und Flugzeuge alle noch einmal bei uns vorbei geflogen sind. Das große Feuerwerk zum Nationalfeiertag haben wir nach einem Sonnenuntergangspicknick bei Pont Neuf nur ein bisschen über den Wolken gesehen... bei den Temperaturen hatten wir einfach keine Motivation fürs Marsfeld und haben da wohl auch eine tolle Show verpasst... trotzdem ein schöner Abend (schönes Wochenende).

During July there are big fireworks for the french national day and also for firemen's balls that usually take place one day before. All the July was full of "practising" and we were woken up with the bang of a rocket more than once.

Those firemen's balls are celebrated by every small quarter of Paris and all surrounding cities - everyone contributing with a little firework. Enjoying our good view from the balcony we started watching and soon i did not know where to look - one firework stopped and the next began but they came in twos and threes as well... i guess picking the 13th of July 2013 as your wedding date was not a bad idea. Fireworks for everyone! (i just did not succeed in taking nice pictures of it)

The parade for Bastille Day is not really my cup of tea and easier to watch on TV anyway. Funny that all the planes and helicopters flew past our windows, though. As for the big fireworks we only caught glimpses of it enjoying our sunset picknick near Pont Neuf... we just did not feel motivated to face all the masses at Champ de Mars and missed quite a show... nice evening (weekend) anyway.
