kiko

Auf Empfehlung von Nad verschlug es mich vor kurzem zu kiko. Auch dort wird rausgeschleudert und so stöberte ich mit gefühlten zweihundert anderen Mädels durchs reduzierte Sortiment. Ein silbergrauer (so schien es mir) Nagellack und ein schöner matter Lippenstift schafften es ins Körbchen und an der Kasse wurde ich um nicht einmal fünf Euro erleichtert.

Der Lack (Nail Lacquer - Silver Chrome 304) ist perfekt für nächtliche Tanzausflüge, Silvesterabende oder Raumschiff-Motto-Parties. Die Farbe ist nämlich nicht im entferntesten grau mit Silberanflug, sondern wunderbar glitzerndes Silber, was auf den Bildern nicht annähernd rüberkommt. So viel dazu... Verwendung für den Alltag hat er wohl kaum, aber schön ist er dennoch.

Der Lippenstift (Mat Lipstick - Dark Red 222) ist ein tiefes mattes und eher kühles Rot. Gleich nach dem ersten Swatch hat er mir gefallen und so auf den Lippen sieht er immer noch schön aus. Ein bisschen dramatisch für den Alltag, aber dezent aufgetupft wunderschön - gerade im Winter. 

Was ich insgesamt schade finde, ist die Tatsache, dass die Produkte nicht namentlich beschriftet sind... es gibt nur Nummern. Ansonsten hätte ich wohl eher die Finger von "Silver Chrome" gelassen. Im Fläschchen wirkt er nämlich etwas unscheinbarer. Die Qualität kann sich für diesen Preis aber durchaus sehen lassen - auch ohne Sale ist kiko wirklich erschwinglich.

Following a recommendation by  Nad  i recently found myself at  kiko. They are having their sales as well and so i rummaged through the reduced stuff with what felt like two hundred other girls. Silver grey (that seemed to be the colour) nail polish and a nice mat lipstick made the race and i did not even pay five euros for these.

The nail polish (Nail Lacquer - Silver Chrome 304) is perfect for going out to dance, new year`s evenings or spaceship theme parties. The colour has nothing to do with grey at all. It is bright shiny silver, though the pictures can´t seem to catch it. I guess that is something i can´t use in daily life but it is still a nice one.

The Lipstick (Mat Lipstick - Dark Red 222) is a deep mat and rather cool shade of red. Right after the first swatch i liked it and after putting it on it is still lovely. Maybe a bit too dramatic for wearing it every day but dabbed softly it is beautiful - especially in winter.

What i consider to be a pity is the fact that the products do not bear their names... there are just numbers. Otherwise i would have reconsidered buying something named "silver chrome" i guess. Just judging from the bottle it looks somewhat more "insignificant". The quality you get at kiko is quite impressive for the small price - and even without sales kiko is affordable.
